Gloria's Memorial:
Gloria was above all a Servant of the Divine Mother Father God, eagerly sharing her teachings from Spirit with those drawn to her. Her motto might have been, HAVE WORKSHOP, WILL TRAVEL. And Travel she did, to over 50 cities and seven countries, including all over the United States, England, Switzerland, Iceland, Germany, Bali, and Greece, always leaving seeds of spiritual wisdom and consciousness. A Preacher in the North Carolina mountains prophesied early in her work that “SHE WILL TRAVEL FAR AND WIDE AND MAKE THEM TEACHABLE." Women and Wisdom had those words made into a plaque for her, which was displayed on her office wall.

Gloria D. Karpinski was a compassionate Counselor, Spiritual Director, Healer, Teacher, Author, and Master Story-teller and a Beloved Friend. Her seminars, as well as her individual in-depth Spiritual Direction sessions, emphasized the relevancy of universal spiritual principles to everyday life and the inter-dynamics of mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Her life was a testament to listening to her inner guidance and continuously seeking the right action in all her affairs. She had a brilliant mind and a vast Heart, with an engaging and delightful sense of humor that she generously shared.
To say that Gloria influenced and changed the lives of thousands is not hyperbole; it is the truth. Her first two books, written decades ago, are still being sold online as well as to Interfaith seminary students, for they are packed with wisdom teachings and examples of living deeply into fulfilling spiritual practices. Speaking for many who feel the same blessings, fellow Author and Poet Linda Beatrice Brown spoke of Gloria’s teachings and retreats as “A kaleidoscope of gifts of the Spirit. My inner landscape expanded beyond anything I had imagined. She was truly an instrument of the HOLY SOURCE. My gratitude is endless.”
Women and Wisdom Press is proud to be publishing Gloria’s last book, Midnight Rainbows, A Memoir, With Messages From My Spiritual Quest, this fall. Her previous books are Where Two Worlds Touch: Spiritual Rites of Passage and Barefoot on Holy Ground: Twelve Lessons in Spiritual Craftsmanship.

Gloria concludes her Memoir with this Prayer for the Spiritual Seeker:
May you claim your sacred birthright as a creator.
May your soul intentions draw to you all that you need.
May you remember that you are loved and held in Grace.
So Be It
